COSMELAN PEEL

Price: $800 Duration: 60-90 Minutes

The Gold Standard For Hyperpigmentation Correction

The Cosmelan Peel is a professional depigmentation treatment designed to target stubborn pigmentation, melasma, and post-inflammatory discoloration at the cellular level.

Recognized worldwide as one of the most effective medical-grade peels for skin tone correction, Cosmelan works by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for excess melanin production, revealing a brighter, clearer, and more even complexion.

    • Melasma and hormonal pigmentation

    • Post-acne scarring and dark spots

    • Uneven tone and photoaging

    • Dull, ashy, or blotchy complexion

  • Cosmelan utilizes a synergistic blend of melanin-suppressing actives, antioxidants, and resurfacing agents that both lift existing pigment and prevent new discoloration from forming.

    It operates on two levels:

    • Depigmentation: breaks down visible pigmentation on the surface.

    • Regulation: suppresses melanin synthesis in the melanocyte to stop pigment at the source.

  • Together, these actives deliver a comprehensive resurfacing and brightening effect without compromising skin health.

    • Azelaic Acid – brightens and inhibits tyrosinase to control melanin formation.

    • Kojic Acid – lightens hyperpigmented areas while providing antioxidant protection.

    • Phytic Acid – exfoliates and chelates metals to enhance cellular turnover.

    • Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) – promotes collagen synthesis and luminosity.

    • Arbutin & Niacinamide – further regulate pigment and strengthen barrier function.

  • The Cosmelan protocol is a two-phase treatment:

    • In-Clinic Application – Your provider applies the Cosmelan 1 mask, which remains on the skin for 8–12 hours, then removed at home.

    • Home Care Phase – Over the next several weeks, you’ll use a Cosmelan maintenance system to continue regulating pigment production and support barrier repair.

    • Visible peeling and dryness typically occur in the first 3–5 days, with progressive brightening and evenness developing over 4–6 weeks.

    • Expect a significant reduction in pigment density and improved overall luminosity after a single treatment.

    • For ongoing melasma management, annual maintenance treatments and consistent sun protection are recommended.

Know Before You Go: Cosmelan Peel

The Cosmelan Peel is a medical-grade skin correction system designed to reduce hyperpigmentation, melasma, and uneven skin tone.

Because it’s a powerful enzymatic and tyrosinase-inhibiting treatment, proper preparation and aftercare are essential for safe, radiant results.

    • Discontinue active ingredients 5–7 days prior.
Pause use of retinoids, exfoliating acids, vitamin C, and benzoyl peroxide to minimize irritation.

    • Avoid sun exposure.
Arrive with no recent tan or sunburn. UV exposure increases risk of post-peel inflammation.

    • No waxing, laser, or exfoliating procedures.
Avoid any exfoliating or resurfacing treatments (including dermaplaning, microneedling, or peels) within 10 days prior.

    • Hydrate and nourish the skin barrier.
Drink plenty of water and use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer in the days leading up to your appointment.

    • The in-clinic phase begins with a deep cleanse, skin prep, and application of the Cosmelan 1 mask.

    • The mask remains on the skin for 8–12 hours depending on skin type, and is removed at home following your provider’s instructions.

    • You’ll receive your Cosmelan 2 Home Care Kit and detailed aftercare instructions.

    • Day 1–3: Expect redness, tightness, and sensitivity similar to a mild sunburn.

    • Day 3–7: Noticeable peeling and flaking as the top layer of pigment lifts.

    • Week 2–4: Skin continues to brighten and smooth; new cell turnover reveals a clearer tone.

    • Week 4–6: Full results emerge—skin appears even, luminous, and refined.

    • Follow your Cosmelan Home Care Protocol exactly.
Your at-home system is key to maintaining pigment suppression and achieving optimal results.

    • Avoid heat, sweating, and active skincare products.
No workouts, saunas, exfoliation, or harsh ingredients for 7–10 days.

    • SPF is mandatory.
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply every 2 hours when outdoors. Sun exposure is the #1 cause of pigment recurrence.

    • Moisturize frequently.
Use your prescribed post-peel hydrator to manage flaking and support barrier recovery.

    • Do not pick or peel.
Let the skin shed naturally to avoid scarring or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
